We are looking for an Evidence Advisor to Lead the Technical Inputs for Evidence for Action efforts in Tanzania. • You are passionate about and have expertise in working for maternal and newborn survival in Tanzania. • You are a well respected researcher on maternal and neonatal health and have strong relevant academic networks. • You are skilled in using rigorous research methods (quantitative, qualitative or both). • You understand health management information systems. • You understand the on the ground realities about maternal and newborn survival in Tanzania. • You are a strong writer, communicator and connector.
Evidence for Action (E4A) is a five year programme (2011--2016) managed by Options Consultancy Services and funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to improve maternal and newborn survival through a combined focus on evidence, advocacy and accountability across six sub-Saharan African countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Tanzania.
