Job Details
Job Purpose: The Health Advisor (HA) is responsible for providing overall technical support to the Concern Worldwide Burundi (CWB) health programme. He/she will have responsibility for technical support, monitoring & evaluation and reporting for the Mabayi Child Survival Programme (MCSP) which is co-funded between USAID and Concern US. Management responsibilities will be shared with the Health Project Manager with the HA taking the lead on technical side of activities and the Health PM taking the lead on implementation. He/she will also liaise closely with technical backstop personnel in Dublin and New York. The Health Advisor will also be required to support fundraising with the development of high quality proposals and liaising with a network of key technical and peer agencies and in-country donors, allowing for shared learning, programme development and the establishment of effective advocacy platforms.
